Hey, I’m Curtis, My love for filmmaking started around the age of 16. I would film everything - holidays, days out with friends, little moments at home. I didn’t realise it at the time, but I was already building my way into a lifelong passion for storytelling and capturing special moments.

In the midst of studying at university, I took the leap and turned that passion into a career. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to work closely with some of the biggest names in music - from DJs like David Guetta and D.O.D to major labels like Sony, Universal, and Armada Music. I’ve created music videos that have generated millions of views, captured goosebump moments on huge festival stages, and travelled the world documenting life on tour. The industry is fast-paced, high-pressure, and creative in every sense of the word. So, you’re probably wondering, how did I end up in the wedding industry?

Around five years ago, I filmed my first wedding. It was supposed to be one-off, just a favour for a relative but something clicked. There was something powerful about telling a story that wasn’t just for screens - it was for generations. I saw the way people lit up watching it back, and I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of.

That’s when I created Perigee Films. The name comes from the moment the moon is closest to Earth - a subtle nod to connection, intimacy, and closeness. That’s what I aim to capture in every film.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year to give each story the attention it deserves. My approach is cinematic and documentary in style - led by real moments. From the lump-in-your-throat speeches to the little looks only you two notice, or even grandma going wild on the dance floor - I’m there to capture it all, and craft it into something you’ll want to watch over and over again.
